Groups

What is it?

At ClouDNS, we have created the Groups feature, which allows you to arrange all types of services - Domain names, DNS zone, Monitoring checks and SSL certificates in your own groups.

How to activate it?

When you log in to your profile at ClouDNS, click on your email link at the top of the page in order to access your account settings. Afterward, in the section "Web settings," you must check "Groups" and click on the "Save" button.

How to use it?

Once activated, you will notice a minor change in your Dashboard. Column "Group" will be available for every service category on your Dashboard - Domain names, DNS zones, Monitoring checks, and SSL certificates.

In order to create a new Group, please click on the gear icon next to the Group column name. In the pop-up windows, you will be able to add a new group, edit and delete existing groups. Another way to create a group is to click on the pen icon next to the "None" text under the Groups column. In the popup window, you can select "Add new group".

If you would like to add a certain service to a group, you have to click on the pen icon next to the "None" text under the Groups column. In the popup window, you can select the group to which you would like to add the selected service.

In order to sort your services by group, please click on the "Filter by" dropdown menu under the Groups column. There, you can select which group members you would like to see in the Dashboard. In order to remove the filter, click on the dropdown menu and select "No filter".
