We need to change two of our servers to improve the service that we offer you. After a lot of tests with new hardware firewalls and different network configurations, we are ready with new NS3 and PNS3 servers. The bad news are that our current network providers can't offer us the capacity that we need for powerful network firewall and we need to change the IP's of these two servers. The servers will continue to be at the same geographical location.
New IP's of the servers:
ns3.cloudns.net
IPv4: 185.31.122.98
IPv6: 2a00:af60:4:9::2
pns3.cloudns.net
IPv4: 72.20.55.83
The new IP addresses are already activated and available. We will update the hosts ns3.cloudns.net and pns3.cloudns.net on Nov 25. The old IP addresses will be available and accessible until the end of the year.
What you need to do, if you use Master DNS Zones? Nothing. If you use Master DNS zones, you don't need to do any changes. We will update our servers to work with the new addresses.
What you need to do, if you use Slave DNS Zones? You need to add the new IP addresses in the list with allowed servers to transfer DNS zones from your master server and to add them in the also-notify option.
What you need to do, if you use DNS Branding? If you have branded ns3.cloudns.net or pns3.cloudns.net, you need to update your A and AAAA records. Child name servers (glue records) need to be updated too.
If you have any questions or problems, do not hesitate to contact us from menu Support or directly to e-mail support@cloudns.net
